Stax is a family-owned restaurant serving all-day breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. We are currently looking for servers at both locations and a weekend host in River West.

We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions, with set weekly schedules. Weekend availability is required for most positions.

  • Host - River West

    We are seeking a full-time host for our River West location! Hours: 8am to close (between 3:45-4:15pm each day). Weekend availability is required.

    Responsibilities include:
    -Engaging with customers in a friendly manner to welcome them to Stax
    -Seating guests; managing wait lists
    -Processing payments (running credit cards & processing cash payments for servers)
    -Answering the phone
    -Maintaining a clean and organized work area
    -Ability to prioritize and multi-task across the items above

    You will have a set weekly schedule. Pay is competitive, and includes base pay + tips.

    We are seeking a part-time barista for Saturdays & Sundays at our Little Italy location! Experience in a high-volume restaurant or café is required.

    Responsibilities include:
    -Preparing hot and cold drinks - including coffee, espresso, cocktails, and juices
    -Prep work (cleaning & cutting fruit, making juices, etc.)
    -Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment
    -ServSafe and BASSET certifications are required
